Scott McCarthy is an expert legal technology leader and founder of SMS IT Group, a firm specializing in Elite 3E development, project management, SQL engineering, and infrastructure support. As an Elite 3E Developer and EDG Template Developer, Scott brings deep technical expertise and strategic insight to complex law firm environments.

He has led numerous Elite 3E implementations, customizations, and optimizations, helping firms strengthen financial operations and system performance. Backed by a team of experienced engineers, Scott is known for delivering reliable, scalable IT solutions tailored to the needs of modern legal organizations.

Sumeet is a results-driven Legal Tech professional with 18+ years of experience helping law firms, corporations, and startups succeed in legal software. I specialize in Legal Accounting ERP implementations, strategic solution design, and delivery leadership—overseeing complex projects, budgets, and global teams.

Dan Sharratt leads client onboarding and long-term success at Scan Logic, ensuring firms achieve fast, measurable value from the platform. He brings deep experience in law firm financial systems and back-office technology, with a strong track record of scaling high-performing onboarding teams.

Previously, Dan led onboarding initiatives at nQ Billback and Chrome River during periods of rapid growth, helping firms streamline billing, finance, and expense workflows. At Scan Logic, he focuses on delivering efficient go-lives, consistent outcomes, and scalable client success.

Monty Lunn is a seasoned business development and strategic account leader with deep expertise in the legal technology and consulting sectors. His career includes senior management roles with Elite Information Systems, Thomson Reuters, Deloitte, Huron Consulting, and LawManager, where he drove growth, strengthened client relationships, and expanded strategic partnerships.

Monty brings a strong foundation in market strategy and client engagement, backed by a B.A. in Philosophy from Mount St. Mary’s University in Los Angeles. Based in New Orleans, he is actively involved in community leadership and nonprofit board service.

John Gilbert has spent more than three decades consulting with and supporting law firms globally. He worked for some of the early pioneers of e-billing.  Before that, he helped firms standardize their use of templates and macros during the first wave of Microsoft Word implementations.

Recently, he has guided firms through the transition from paper-based file storage to document conversion to electronic and document management solutions.
