Scan Logic is a legal finance technology company serving mid-size and large law firms. It addresses
two problems: electronic billing (e-Billing) compliance with client outside counsel guidelines
(OCGs), and manual accounts payable work inside law firm finance teams.

  validates time entries against applicable directives before submission, submits compliant LEDES
  files across more than 40 e-Billing portals, and tracks payments and appeals.
- **APSync** (/apsync) — Legal accounts payable automation. Captures vendor invoices, credit card
  charges and reimbursements, applies firm coding rules, routes approvals with exceptions, and syncs
  validated records to accounting systems.
- **ChatSync** (/chatsync) — Attorneys ask time and billing questions in plain English and receive
  precise answers in seconds, without custom reports.
- **OCG Live** (/solutions) — Instant analysis of outside counsel guidelines into a searchable,
  always-current compliance library.

## How it works

1. OCG compliance — guidelines are centralized; an AI engine extracts requirements, tracks effective
   dates and updates to new versions automatically.
2. Invoices and scrubbing — time entries are validated against applicable directives before
   submission; non-compliant entries are flagged and routed for correction.
3. Submission — compliant LEDES files are submitted automatically across 40+ portals.
4. Payment and appeals — invoice status is tracked and appeals are routed to the right firm member.
